ICON 800 RGB Review by Jayce Ooi

Introduction
Hey guys, meet Vinnfier Icon 800 RGB. One of the cheapest USB powered 2.0 speakers by Vinnfier. 16W total output power with 7 modes of colourful LED lights. Comes with a sleek external controller too. Sound great? Let’s find out…

Package Content & Design
There is Icon 800 RGB in the package only. No user manual as everything was printed on the packaging itself.

Great build quality for the price thanks to sturdy plastic housing. Stylish and light in weight. Compact in size and does not take much space on your desktop at all. By the way, the 2.5″ speaker has 4W pure output power.

Here is the external controller. You can power on/off through it. Same applies to LED light and volume control. You can’t miss the 3.5mm audio jack and USB port as power source.

Performance Result
8W total output power (RMS) can fill up the whole small quiet room. Good enough when you are close to it usually. Great addition to your laptop or tablet. In addition, you can’t miss the attractive LED light effects.

Enjoy bright sound signature just like other small 2.0 speakers. More treble than bass. That’s common and no worries. Icon 800 RGB has well-tuned sound out of the box. Enjoy crisp and clear treble. No harshness at all. Mids are performing well too. Nice vocals for both female and male. Lastly, bass is decent for compact speakers. You can feel it a bit when close to the speakers but don’t expect much. In short, sound quality is great for the price.

Advantages

  • Crisp & clear treble with nice bass
  • Great build quality
  • USB powered
  • Lovely LED effects
  • Portable & lightweight

Limitations

  • No harm to have more bass and loudness

Conclusion
For RM35, you can’t go wrong with Vinnfier Icon 800 RGB.
